Dear Class of 2026,
We are excited to welcome you to Cheeky Monkey on Friday, May 22, from 9:00 to 11:00 pm at 3 Lansdowne St, Boston. To ensure you have the best experience at the event, please carefully review the information below:
1. Ticket sales: No tickets will be sold at the door. Tickets are non-refundable for any reason! Be sure to bring your Government ID (required for entry), MIT ID (mobile ID is okay!), and the ticket so we can verify it at the door.
2. Entrance and Check-In: Guests may enter Cheeky Monkey through the main entrance at 3 Lansdowne St. Upon arrival, you will have to present your Government ID to confirm drinking age. Then, you will be directed to the check-in table to verify your ticket and get a wristband.
3. Time: Doors will be open exclusively for MIT students from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and guests are required to arrive within the first hour of the event. After 10:00 PM, the restaurant area will open to the general public. The lower level will remain reserved exclusively for MIT students from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. After 11:00 PM, the entire venue will be open to the general public, and you may remain at Cheeky Monkey at your own discretion and responsibility.
4. Transportation: Please arrange your own transportation to and from Cheeky Monkey.
5. Dress Code: Dress comfortably at your best. Please do not wear a costume to this event. Face coverings and masks (except for COVID masks) are not allowed. To help ensure everyone's safety, please keep your face visible at all times.
6. Cash Bar: Please bring your Government ID and a payment method if you plan to purchase drinks from the cash bar.
7. Food: Food and beverages will be available while supplies last (show up in time!), but we recommend having a substantial meal before you arrive. Please do not bring any food or beverages (including water) to the venue, as all items will be inspected and confiscated.
8. Photography: SOLE Staff and Senior Week Committee members will take photos and videos to record this special event.
9. Security: Cheeky Monkey security officers will be present and patrolling the venue throughout the event. The chaperones from the SOLE Office and Checky Monkey management reserve the right to remove individuals or deny entry to anyone who disrupts order or compromises safety. Additionally, Cheeky Monkey reserves the right to refuse entry to any item at their discretion.
Please be respectful and comply with the following guidelines:
a. Small-bag policy: For the safety of all attendees, no large bags or backpacks are permitted in the event venue. Only small bags or handbags will be allowed and are subject to search. Cheeky Monkey does not have lockers or storage capabilities for personal items.
b. Arrive sober / No alcohol or other substances: Please do not bring any beverages (including water, alcohol, mini liquor nips/shooters) or substances or show up intoxicated. Any items brought will be confiscated, and you will be asked to leave the event. Visibly intoxicated guests will not be allowed entry and will be asked to leave.
c. No re-entry policy: Once you leave the event, you will not be allowed to re-enter the venue.
d. Damages: You will be responsible for any damages caused. Please also be respectful and kind towards the Cheeky Monkey staff.
